Gatorade’s G2 Product Launch

Artificial grass climbed up the brick wall over the course of 3 days to form a baseball field in Herald Square, drawing media attention and great public interest. Yankees Captain Derek Jeter stopped by for a press conference explaining that pros like Jeter are always thinking of their sport, even as they walk the streets. The promotion was a preview to new TV ads that G2 launched during this year’s Super Bowl.
Gatorade gave out over 10,000 drink samples to eager shoppers, tourists, and office workers each day.

Dunkin Donut’s Running of the Cups
Herald Square Park, July 2007
Herald Square Park was the host to Dunkin Donuts as they paid tribute to the service workers who keep Manhattan running. The Food Network’s Rachael Ray kicked-off a day full of surprise coffee and donuts for New York City’s firehouses, police stations, nursing students, train conductors, and construction workers.
Plus, thousands of passersby were treated to free iced lattes throughout the morning commute.

Canon Photo Zone Promotion
Greeley Square Park, August 2007
Greeley Square was teeming with “Sharapovas” as Canon celebrated the U.S. Open and launched their newest digital camera. Thousands of spectators were treated to fashion shows featuring ten Maria Sharapova look-alikes, with tennis stars and commentators Patrick McEnroe, Mary Joe Fernandez, and Murphy Jensen on hand as emcees.
Park visitors and passersby posed for photos with the faux-Sharapovas, tested their skills in virtual tennis matches against Sharapova, and tried out Canon’s newest cameras.
