The 34th Street Partnership maintains a variety of plantings in its 542 concrete planters. 150 elevated baskets, and 119 tree pits and in Herald and Greeley Squares, changing the displays three times a year. Throughout the district and in the squares, 25,000 bulbs are planted for a mass display in March, April, and May. Also in May, the gardens in the squares, as well as the planters and baskets along 34th Street, bloom with 25 different types of annuals. Beginning in November, junipers and spruce make up the district's winter presentation. The Partnership also installs special decorations and seasonal displays for the winter holidays.
